Jonathan is a founding principal and managing director of Essex Realty Investments LLC.  Jonathan has primary responsibility for acquisitions and transaction structuring for Essex Realty Investments LLC.  Jonathan has a long history of leading acquisitions, dispositions, recapitalizations and financings for institutional investors across asset classes and capitalization structures. Jonathan brings a wealth of knowledge and a solutions oriented approach to structuring transactions.  He has deep experience with 1031 and qualified opportunity zone investments, transactions and structuring. As a partner of Black & Hutton LLP, DLA Piper LLP, Brown Rudnick LLP and Hale And Dorr LLP, Jonathan has had a distinguished career structuring a number of the market’s most innovative transactions from an acquisition, disposition and capitalization perspective.  Education:  University of Pennsylvania, Phi Beta Kappa, Magna Cum Laude, University of Virginia, JD.
