Byron Adams has nearly 40 years experience in the oil and gas industry. From 1979 until 1996 Byron was with a premier Gulf Coast based Oil & Gas rental company. While there, he held various roles in Operations, Sales & Marketing and Management dealing with domestic and international oil & gas companies. From 1996 until 2000, Byron was an original investor in a lead group to buy worldwide Offshore Pedestal Crane companies and assets. Subsequently, he rolled up other related businesses to form Offshore Tool & Energy Corporation and ultimately sold to a London based Private Equity Fund. During this time, Byron’s primary responsibilities were Executive Management and Strategic Business Development.
From 2000 through 2008, Byron was a Partner at Pritchard Capital Partners, LLC. In this role, he invested to form a sell side boutique investment firm advising Hedge Funds, Investment Advisers, and Private Equity clients on private and public Oil & Gas industry investment decisions. Beginning in 2008, Byron formed BA Adams Oil & Gas Investments, LLC and has been supporting private investments primarily in the Oil & Gas, and Banking sectors.
With the formation of Pritchard Griffin in 2015, Byron joined the firm in an advisory role for business development and transaction execution specific to oilfield service opportunities.
Byron holds an MBA from Tulane and a BSBA in Economics from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. He is the Chairman of Catholic Charities for the Archdiocese of New Orleans and has served on the Board of Directors for the Academy of the Sacred Heart in New Orleans as well as the Audubon Nature Institute.
